El Chimo is a small fishing village just inside the southern point of the bay, Cabo Corientes. If you to really relax, this is the place. The fishermen go out very early and their catch will end up at the fresh fish stalls in Puerto Vallarta. There's at least one restaurant on the beach, serving mainly seafood. Shell fish, especially fresh oysters, are easily available. |
