| Maybe because Puerto Vallarta such a nice place to live, it's attracted more than it's share of great chefs. Second only to Mexico City we have some of the finest restaurants in the country. We also have more humble restaurants that can still produce very fine meals. Within the city we probably have over 600 restaurants and many more outside of the downtown - south side area. And it's not just Mexican cuisine, it's a veritable culinary smorgasbord.
