Las Caletas on the south side of Puerto Vallarta's Banderas Bay is a private secluded beach that was once the home of the famous film director John Huston.
Since there are no roads on this side of the bay, Las Caletas can only be reached by sea.
On the hills backing the bay, the lush jungle comes right down to the shore with amazing variations of colour, a tropical nature preserve here and in the waters of the cove.
Enjoy the most fantastic coastal scenery that Vallarta has to offer while cruising to this private cove where you will discover the wonders of the bay while kayaking, snorkeling, or scuba diving.
On land, you can explore the surrounding forest, relax in a hammock on the golden beach, or indulge in a therapeutic massage or facial at our hilltop spa center.

We offer free guided nature walks through our jungle and unique orchid gardens.
We also have an interactive parrot center, guided kayak tours, snorkeling tours, and scuba diving courses to ensure that you will not miss out on the array of sea life inhabiting our natural cove.

The Las Caletas tour includes: a light breakfast, a Superb Buffet Lunch, All Beverages, Guided Snorkeling and Kayaking Tours, Parrot Encounters, Nature Walks, Yoga and Paella Cooking Lessons.

Snorkeling with Sea Lions adds another element of excitement and adventure to your day at Las Caletas.

What makes sea lion encounters so exhilarating is their natural tendency to learn, explore and an and eagerness to interact with people. And Snorkeling with Sea Lions is an exciting way to get to know these fun-loving and fascinating creatures accompanied by our professional marine mammal trainers in the protected waters of Las Caletas' natural cove.

Snorkeling with Sea Lions is charged as an "extra" for your day at Las Caletas. See Below.

Boats leave from the two locations, one in Puerto Vallarta MAP and one in Nuevo Vallarta MAP,

We suggest bringing a camera, bathing suit, sun hat, sunscreen, a towel and a light jacket.
Spa Treatments, scuba diving and videos are available for an extra fee.

Sealions $54.00 extra.
Children ages 6-8 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
