Los Arcos. Boat trip 20 min. |
This group of rocks just offshore, close to Mismaloya,
comprises an underwater marine park and is a very popular site for divers
and snorkelers This Twilight Dive at Los Arcos will let you discover the thrill of night diving in the canyon called the Devil's Drop and exploring the fascinating underwater mountain range of El Bajo, while witnessing the abundant lobster, octopus and other marine life that can only be seen at night. The underwater coves, nearby natural reef and diverse array
of brilliant sea life make this one of the finest dive sites on the Pacific

Originally made famous by Jacques Cousteau in the 1970's, the Marietas
Islands Marine Reserve has now become one of the most popular areas in

Six miles West of Marietas Islands and on the very edge of Banderas Bay lies El Morro, a series of rock pinnacles extending above the surface of the blue waters of the Pacific. This world-class dive site combines drop-offs, caves and arches with a great diversity of marine life including mantas, large schooling fish, turtles, and dolphins. Includes a light lunch, snacks and soft drinks. Note: Open Water Certification card and previous dive with Vallarta Adventures - or - 50 logged dives are required to participate. |

Los Anegados Boat trip 20 min. |
This rock bank lies half way between El Morro and the Marietas
Islands in a relatively sheltered area of Outside of Puerto Vallarta of Banderas
Bay. The bank starts at around 30 ft below the ocean's surface and is full
of caves and interesting rock formations. The highlight of this dive is
the chance to see nurse sharks which are often sighted here. It is a popular
second dive after the deeper descents at El Morro Includes a light lunch, snacks and soft drinks. Note: Certified Divers only with Open Water Certification card and previous dive with Vallarta Adventures or 25 logged dives. |

Surrounded by the blue waters of the Pacific this barnacle covered rock attracts all manner of sea life. A profusion of manta rays, turtles, sharks and dolphins are native to these waters, and huge schools of Jack tuna circle this tiny island in search of food. This is a great dive site with caves, arches and steep walls to explore. Includes a light lunch, snacks and soft drinks.
